Level Design: an Xbox.

This song was made in a friend’s garage in one day, directly after arriving in Melbourne from the Byron Bay visit stretching from the Ashram exodus. It concerns a love story that is in all three tenses and yet also retrospective to suggest that anything happened between Laura and I when it didn’t. I think the path which led me to my true love, if such esoteric things happen here, was of her doing thus I stand behind the sentiment expressed here and am welcoming of the title I constructed the day after making it. The theme gets a bit bombastic in the firework rock section which demonstrates how a moronic usage of a dub step synth might sound but this pales into a hypnosis when the last verse drives home a primordial love beat made from some basic triplet maths resyncing the loops from earlier. It’s a bit crisp in the chorus, sorry about that, I did record the vocals on a laptop microphone whilst in Sydney a week before (Oh yeah, it’s kind of a remix).
